Last night the Hooliganz did a free show at Trucker downtown. It was an all ages show, so I brought my kids and we had a ball! I danced with my youngest daughter for 2 hours straight! It was a great warm-up for tonight's show at LaSalle's. It's DJ Marvel's birthday, so you know it's gonna be crazy fun!!
Special thanks to the Hooliganz for making my kids feel so special! You guys are truly great people, and I feel lucky to call you my friends!!

The Hooliganz and Why they love Chico

I recently wrote to each member of the Hooliganz, including their DJ and producer. I was originally going to ask them a question for our first edition of our newsletter, but their answers were kind of lengthy and I didn't want to edit anything they wrote, so I thought this might make a cool blog entry. So here it is: I asked each of them "What's your favorite thing about Chico?" And here's their responses.... J Pigg

“My favorite thing about Chico is…the city’s relaxed atmosphere. Everybody can just chill and have a good time. We know how to party out here the right way!! And this is where the Hooliganz started!”

What a Show...

J pigg's birthday bash at LaSalle's was a night full of hip hop heaven. The Vibe Tribe started the night.....

Followed by Mouthy, who had unbelievable flow....

After Mouthy came Prophet out of the bay....fuckin' amazing!! He definitely gained quite a few fans that night and seemed like he was having fun with the flashing lights of our cameras...

Then it was time for the Hooliganz to start, and the energy just went through the roof! It was so crazy I almost forgot I was there to take pictures LOL

So thanks for the great show everyone! It took me a couple days to recover, but it was awesome!

The Hooliganz Video Shoot Extras Needed!

That's right people of Chico, Ca and any surrounding areas. On Saturday, March 1st, J. Pigg and The Hooliganz will be shooting their first video called Transformers and Cadillacs and we need extras. The video is about reminiscing when we were all kids so we will need little brothers, sisters, or friends brothers and sisters. Any kids we can round up for the shoot. ANy adults interested please write back to this page or The Hooliganz myspace page and let us know. Wear summertime / spring clothing for the shoot. ********ALSo anyone with a CADILLAC that would like to use it in the video respond ASAP************** Shooting begins @ 1pm and the first location meeting place will be the Safeway Parking lot on Nord Ave. We will head to the first shooting site from there. It's J.Pigg's B-Day Bash...this FRIDAY at LaSalles!!! That's right J.Pigg is a leap year baby and he is turning 7 this year!! Come out to the biggest party of the year and celebrate the birth of a HOOLIGAN!!!!

We'll be taking the next couple of days off....We've been threatened again by chicoevents.com who is unhappy with our use of http://chicoevents.blogspot.com and http://www.myspace.com/chicoevents. I now have to spend the next couple days attaining legal counsel and getting these people off my ass for good. I don't understand why they're going after me, since this is a NON PROFIT BLOG!!
