Great News!

Dear Readers: We have had the luck of finding a new member to help out here at the Chico Blog Team. My cousin Nichol has gone out with me a few times to help take pictures and network, and she offered her help a couple of days a week and to help at events. This is great, since my main problem was that there was just too much for one person to do. So ladies and gentlemen, the Chico Blog Team AND the Chico Nightlife Crew are back!! The State of the Chico Blog Team

I am no longer running the Chico Blog Team. I had lots of fun and met numerous cool people in the process of doing this project, but in the end, it consumed too much of my time and I don't have the money to keep going out to network for the business. I have put lots of money into both the Chico Blog Team and the Chico Nightlife Crew, but I think I'm kinda done with the whole nightlife scene for a while.

Right now I want to focus on my family, my personal growth, and my loved ones. These projects did not make us money, but definitely made a lot of good memories.

If there's anyone who's interested in taking on either of my websites, chicoblogteam.com or chiconightlifecrew.com, send me an email and we'll see what we can work out. Thanks to all of you who helped me in my efforts. I love Chico because of the people here. You are all awesome!!

I HAVE BEEN HEARING AND SEEING A LOT OF CONFLICTING STORIES WHEN IT COMES TO THE CHICO NIGHTLIFE SCENE. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE SAYING IT'S DEAD OR IT'S NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE, BUT THEN YOU GO OUT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT AND THE CLUBS ARE MOSTLY PACKED. I THINK THERE ARE TWO MAJOR PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW. 1: PEOPLE ARE BROKE, AND IT'S A LOT CHEAPER TO STAY AT HOME. 2: THERE HASN'T BEEN ENOUGH ORGANIZATION AND PROMOTION TO KEEP THE LIVE MUSIC GOING STRONG. Tonight at Riley's an RIP Party for Normal St. bar. Dress in black and get half off drinks. 50 cent budweiser and bud light. Take advantage, Chico, and wish farewell to Normal St. for good. Thursday night Cops and Robbers at LaSalle's Friday night One Block Radius rocks LaSalle's. The Chico Blog Team will be out at this event for sure! Saturday night The Pyrx Band are playing Lost on Main and there is a huge hip hop show on 3rd st. Check out the flyer below for more info.
