I started this blog not as a business, but as a way of uniting our community through fun and music. We have yet to make any kind of revenue from this blog. Well, it became a business when the owners of the Trademark "Chico Events" contacted me about this blog. They said it infringed on their copyright of those words. So in the last few days, I've become a legal researcher LOL....But I've found some interesting things I thought I'd share with other bloggers, entrepenuers, and writers. First of all, this is a SUBDOMAIN. There are laws regarding use of trademarks in domains, but not subdomains. I've found the following examples of actual "cybersquatters" using blogger subdomains. There are little to no posts on these blogs, and if there are posts, they're not relevant to their subdomain name. Mine is the opposite.
